Welcome to Jewett’s Tasty Delights, where homemade food is more than a meal—it is a labor of love, a celebration of family, and a way to bring people together.
My name is Sharlene Jewetts, and cooking and baking have been a meaningful part of my life for more than 20 years. What began in my own home, creating meals and desserts for the people I love, grew into a passion for creating food that brings comfort, happiness, and unforgettable flavor to others.
I believe that some of the best memories are made around a table. The smell of something delicious cooking in the kitchen, the excitement of taking that first bite, sharing a dessert with someone you love, or gathering together for a special occasion—those are the moments that inspire me.

From New York to Alexandria

I was born on January 6, 1981, and my hometown is New York.

Growing up, life experiences, family, and the people around me helped shape the woman I am today. My journey eventually brought me to Alexandria, Virginia, where I currently live and continue doing what I love—creating delicious food and building something meaningful through my passion for cooking and baking.
My journey has not only been about food. It has also been about learning, growing, working hard, and continuing to pursue my goals.

I attended Beacon High School and later studied Medical Assisting at Westwood College. Although my education took me into a different professional field, my love for cooking and baking remained a constant part of my life.

The kitchen has always been a place where I can create, serve, and connect with people.
